Service Robotics Group of the Institute of Systems Engineering and Robotics is a successor of the Department “Robotics Systems” of the former Institute of Technical Cybernetics and Robotics in which was developed an EMBLEMATIC - Family of Educational Robots ROBKO.
The core research activities in the Service Robotics Group of the ISER-BAS are focused on research, design, analysis and development in the field of Service Robotics (Professional, Personal, Educational and Leisure and Hobby Service Robotics).
The Service Robotics Group of the Institute of Systems Engineering and Robotics is a member of the FP7 Project “Multi-Role Shadow Robotic System for Independent Living (SRS)” THEME [ICT-2009.7.1], PROJECT NO 247772 as well as Coordinator of the National Project: ROBCO 11 - “Intelligent Modular Mobile Robot for Elderly Care”.
Service Robotics Group of the Institute of Systems Engineering and Robotics is also a community member of the “Coordination Action for the design and description of the FET Flagship candidate Robot Companions for Citizens”: http://www.robotcompanions.eu/members
